Jack LaLanne - The Power Juice Man

When Jack LaLanne was a child he was an out of shape kid who found it difficult to do even the most mundane work. He would get out of breath fast and would shy away from any kind of physical labor. This is what motivated him to get into shape. As he got older he started many gyms and eventually his name became synonymous with working out and health related diets. One of his contributions was the health benefit of drinking fruit and vegetable juice.

In order to accomplish this he worked with designers and came up with the idea of power juicers. The trend caught on and eventually the market was flooded with them, but the Jack LaLanne Juicer is the pioneer of this trend. Before he came out with the juicer he had a television show that aired for nearly 34 years that showed different workout techniques. After the show ended he set to work on his first power juicer. After researching with different styles for a few years, he managed to come up with a juicer that is still considered to be one of the best. If you want more bang for your buck then this juicer is the one for you.

One of the main design features of the Jack LaLanne Juicer is that it has a better and more powerful motor installed. But it's not just about power, it has several other features. It is quite easy to dismantle and clean the parts. It has a wider feed pipe to allow more content to reach the juicer. It boasts a somewhat sophisticated type of clutch system that detects more load and as a result inputs more power to the blades. With all these features it is much easier to make that nutritious juice that you have always wanted to make but didn't want the hassle that comes with it.

As mentioned before, Jack LaLanne Juicers are reasonably priced which gives you more bang for your buck, especially when compared to some of the other power juicers out there which can costs hundreds of dollars. The most expensive Jack LaLanne Power Juicer is around 150 dollars. The four most popular Jack LaLanne power juicers on the market today are the JLSS Deluxe power juicer, the JLPJB power juicer, the PJP pro stainless steel, and the classic simply called the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer.

No matter which one you buy they all have a few things in common. They are uncommonly quiet. These juicers are some the quietest in the industry. You won't go deaf operating one. The juicers extract up to 30 percent more juice from fruits and vegetables. The motors come with a lifetime warranty which means it will be replaced if it breaks down. Thanks to the larger feed tube there is no need to cut the produce into smaller pieces. You will be able to put large pieces of produce into the juicer, thereby saving you time.

Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Deluxe

Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Deluxe
My family recently purchased a Jack LaLanne Deluxe Power Juicer and we love it! There are several key features that make this juicer a top contender when shopping for juicers.
First it is very easy to use; in fact, my 6 yr old son does most of the juicing. Of course cleaning the fruits & veggies is mom's job, but once I have everything ready he loves to do the rest! We only had one occasion where something was stuck and he asked me to help him remove the lid and fix it. After he realized how easy the lid is to remove he said "oh mom, I can do that". It's true, the parts are very lightweight and the juicer is very easy to take apart.
Speaking of cleaning veggies... the Deluxe comes with a small brush and I use that to scrub apples & carrots and other foods. The beauty of this machine is the large chute! With my last juicer, I not only had to clean the fruits & veggies, but had to cut them up very small to fit in the tiny chute. That posed another problem, food would constantly stick and I had various tricks to keep it moving through that was just too time consuming. With the deluxe the chute is large and we can put much more at a time without it backing up.
In addition, my son does not like loud noises and probably would not do the juicing with the juicer we had before (The Champion Juicer). The Deluxe Power Juicer is very quiet and we love that.
Another nice feature is the non-drip pour spout. Unless you have had other juicers that require a very large container to catch all the juice, you cannot appreciate this feature. Other juicers require you to put something very large under the blade and the juice goes everywhere! This can be very messy with carrot juice, not to mention how badly carrot juice can stain countertops & clothes. After enjoying this new juicer, the spout will be a requirement for any future purchases.
And most importantly, this juicer does produce more juice . One way to tell is that the pulp is much dryer than the pulp our last juicer produced. And, it is obvious enough to me that I am using less fruits & veggies than I did before to get more juice for the 3 of us.
This is a terrific juicer and we are very happy with it. So far, this cost efficient juicer is awesome and I can't think of one reason not to buy the Jack LaLanne Deluxe Power Juicer... and that says a lot!
